TRAVEL in LITHUANIAN LANDS 2013

It is time for next travel in May 2013.
I carry the bike on plain from Oslo to Lithuania, going there to 'loose eyes' with Ruta and Irena. Performing IT again in Vilnius is experience of magic and by ending, was beginning to move on the bike towards Klaipeda at the Baltic Sea. Down through the valleys and up the hills.
Along the Niemen river and through, until cost line.Visit friends.
Further, cycling to Nida with narrow land passage on Curonian Spit, leading to 'little Russia' with its capital of Kaliningrad.
Imagine long sandy views falling into the horizon of the sea and sun.
Untouched nature where you care...

maProject Vilnius 2009 Archives Scan

International project hosted by Vilnius European Capital of Culture 2009.
Its a collaboration between artists of different fields, living on the map of Europe in Netherlnads, Lithuania, Poland and Bulgaria. They worked over 2 months on multidisciplinary installation creating a group over 40 people involved in process.

I present series of photos, taken during the bicycle trip along the Scandinanvian land to the top of European continent. Nordkapp was achieved on 3rd of September after 44 days of cycling over 3300 km. Enjoy!

Argentina - the wonder of nature

I had 2 weeks to taste the nature and meet the family of Lola Maria Dolores Silvestro. Much too less. Just the feeling of the great nature I saw leaves the dream come true in the imaginations.

Cordoba province is the direction of many Argentinians starting their holidays.

Cambodia by ZENIT 2010

I just love photos from Zenit! [the first camera in my hands]

The Russian guy met on the road explained that it is also used as a weapon. After leaving his hotel very fast in the morning, I would definitely use it there, if needed.

See the dust of Cambodia and feel the time of Angor Wat!!! Amazing!

thailand - kho phangan 2010

On the island of Kho Phangan in south Thailand I experience one of the most beautifull sand beach with blue ocean and thick jungle lungs... Thai people are very kind, inviting to their lifes and smiling to you... always!!!

COLOURS of INDIA 2010

In the beginning of April I arrived from Bangkok in New Delhi, the capital of India. It was my first visit in the country of contrasts and deep devotion to the culture and tradition. People smile to the camera and ask firstly for your nationality. Find your way in India takes time like to understand what means by Hindu the head expression of neither yes nor no.
From New Delhi I visited Haridwar, the place of this year Kumbha Mela religious festival, then Rishikesh - the most spiritual place of India where in 1974 The Beatles came to refresh their souls. When getting very crowded there, Rishikesh is about 20 km from Haridwar, I left direction Himalayas to the holy places of Hinduism - Badrinath, Kedarnath and Gangotri.
By the invitation of the hotel manager in Rishikesh, called Shiva, I attended local wedding.

Stryków Spring Impression 2009

Many of you are asking about my trip to Poland for three months - march, april, may 2009. I would like to share with you some photos which I took from Stryków - my home town. I spent this time with my family, friend and travelling on a bike in the closest neighbourhood. I enjoyed walking at the river, passing through deep watery grass and jumping over the water. During the day I photographed from the outside perspective. In the night I stayed inside the city. The town is sleeping then and police makes the last round about 2 o'clock in the night. Just tracks passing the city.
From the night walkes I got three series of duets. Some shoot comes from Łukasz Orłowski, my friend. Orzeł lives in the city.

Stryków. Wiosna. Impresje 2009

Zdjęcia zrobiłem podczas mojego ostatniego pobytu w Strykowie, mieście rodzinnym. Marzec, kwiecień, maj. Trzy miesiące spędziłem w otoczeniu rodziny, znajomych i okolicy miasta, która głównie stała się tematem moich fotografii. Wycieczki rowerowe, spacery nad Moszczenicę, nocny powrót do zaśnieżonego, śpiącego miasta i długie, późne spacery po centrum. Spoglądam na miasto z perspektywy człowieka, który tam mieszkał i kogoś kto opuścił to miejsce. Żyłem w środku miasta i wyjeżdżałem w okolicę oglądając je z daleka.
Włóczyliśmy się czasami z Orłem, moim przyjacielem, po centrum o porze kiedy wszyscy śpią. Patrol policji opuszcza ulice o godzinie 2 w nocy. Przelatujące przez miasto ciężarówki nie nikną z drogi. W tym czasie powstały serie trzech duetów. Strzały migawki padły z rąk Łukasza Orłowskiego.

Julyen Hamilton workshops

In the beginning of 2009 I participated in improvisation and composition workshops with Julyen Hamilton in Amsterdam. That was a great experience for me to live in the world of methaphores, beautifull people and lots of movement. It was very inspiring for me in dance improvisation and photography.

Wróciłem z 'wyprawy' do Skandynawii.
Zapraszam do obejrzenia relacji zdjęciowej skandynawia rowerem 2008, którą podzieliłem na albumy: goteborg_ stokholm [pierwsza część wyprawy] i ze szwecji na lofoty [druga część wyprawy z ekipą z Łodzi].

29.08.2008 roku wyjeżdżam na moją pierwszą podróż rowerem przez Skandynawię. Trasa prowadzi z Rotterdamu przez Kiel, Goteborg (odwiedzam Łukasza i Sabinę), Stokholm, dalej do Myśliwych i stamtąd wyruszę dalej z 6-8 osobową ekipą (witam Zemla) na północ półwyspu i od Advesjour wyruszamy na 800km wycieczkę rowerami. Aż do Narvik, skąd sam polecę do Stokholmu i następnego dnia, dalej do Amsterdamu.
Oprócz roweru będę korzystał również z pociągów, promów i samochodu. Biwakowanie 'na dziko' bez szkód dla otoczenia jest całkowicie dozwolone w Norwegii i Szwecji.
Oczywiście zabieram aparat - Nikon D300 z zenitowskim obiektywem 50mm 2,0.
